To man the critical frontline positions at its Steel Plants/Units & Mines, SAIL requires young, energetic, result oriented & promising talent to join as Management Trainee (Technical) in various Engineering disciplines for operation of its Plants/Units & Mines across India.
Candidates interested in applying for the post of Management Trainees (Technical) in E-1 grade in SAIL should have appeared in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 examination (GATE-2024). The Company shall consider candidates who have appeared in GATE-2024 in either of the eight Engineering disciplines, namely Chemical (CH), Civil (CE), Computer (CS), Electrical (EE), Electronics (EC), Instrumentation (IN), Mechanical (ME), Metallurgy (MT) for recruitment as Management Trainees (Technical). Based on their performance in GATE- 2024, the candidates will be short-listed for appearing in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview for selection as Management Trainee (Technical).

Candidates possessing degree course from Institues/Universities approves recognized by UGC/AICTE will only be eligible to apply.
Candidates will require their GATE-2024 registration number for applying.
The management Trainee(Technical) will be offered a basic pay of Rs 50,000/- pm in pay scale of 50,000-1,60,000/-.
On successful completion of one year, the management trainee (technical) will be designated as Assistant Manager and placed in the scale of Rs 60,000-1,80,000/-.
28 Years on 25-07-2024 i.e. not born before 25-07-1996.
Rs 700/- for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates or Rs 200/- as processing fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candiates.
On the basis of Gate-2024 score, candidates will be shortlisted for Group discussion(GD)/Interview in the ratio of 1:12 for each discipline,category wise, in order of merit.
